i'm not aware of wpa-hu, and `e-file wpa-hu` didn't return any results - what package provides it? Or is that a typo, and you meant to write `wpa_gui`?
Anyway, what's the output of `ip a`? _________________ https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/User:Flexibeast |

Hi,
Yes, sorry - that was a typo and should have been wpa_gui.

dmesg - Your paste can be seen here: http://dpaste.com/FFZ5MHCPS
Thank you.
P.S.: I don't understannd this. lspci shows driver is in use, but dmesg does not show anything in regards to the wireless card... |

The page https://wireless.docs.kernel.org/en/latest/en/users/drivers/b43.html shows 14e4:4315 as supported
Your kernel config should have CONFIG_B43=m and all supporting B43 options (beside broken or debug) as enabled. This can be tested in the running kernel by running: modprobe --first-time b43 (Note that modprobe outputs nothing on success)
You will also need sys-firmware/b43-firmware installed before b43 driver will work. |
