I ran alsactl init
..and now my speakers are working just fine, took over a week of futzing around, changing to pipewire and i cant see anything telling me what I did wrong that makes me have to run this after every boot to get audio audible.
I can post any system info that might be required but i think this might be down to a simple systemctl enable alsa-something-or-other |

It seems the audio drivers are not loaded automatically on boot.
On the 1st boot, run alsactl init and check out dmesg's output to see what module it loads. _________________ My blog |
