[SOLVED?] Missing .gif thumbnails in Thunar file browser

Hi,

I'm using the Thunar file browser as my GUI program of choice and I seem to have lost my thumbnails for .gif files.
Other file formats seen fine.

I had some thumbnails and while attempting to fix it, I cleaned up the cache by running

Could you post the content of /etc/xdg/tumbler/tumbler.rc ?
Also, do you have gif USE enabled for x11-libs/gdk-pixbuf ?

I attempted emerging gif USE for x11-libs/gdk-pixbuf but that didn't make a difference, unfortunately.

After sleeping on it and coming back the next morning and trying opening a .gif folder out of desperation in case it had fixed itself - and it has.

I'm not sure why I didn't have any results yesterday but I'm going to add gif as a permanent USE for x11-libs/gdk-pixbuf, assuming that is what fixed the issue.

Cool, I wasn't sure about it.
I remembered gif USE was added recently to x11-libs/gdk-pixbuf-2.42.12
According to tumbler.rc (I have the same entry)
