qt status and updates needs serious study and workover

There are many threads on this forum where the cause of the issue is qt. I have started several myself. In fact, I think, there is an epidemic of qt induced issues. The issues are with software updates that need qt5 or qt6 or various versions of qt6 where there are slot conflicts noted, as far as I can see. There is not one successful solution suggesting a path through these qt issues that I can find.

Suggested solutions include removing all qt software or removing updates of qt needed software in emerge. If some software you wish to use requires qt, how can you use it w/o qt? Cancelling updates to software using qt can keep some software running temporarily but w/o the latest and greatest.

If I am wrong in my assessment, I would like to be corrected.
I would like so see a description of what the qt related really problems are. I am not knowledgeable enough to understand what emerge is saying.
I think, if there is a workable temporary solution until a permanent fix is made, that that should be published. Might solve, temporarily, a lot of these threads.
Of interest also would be, how/when might a complete solution be in place so updates can proceed routinely.

After installing my post on qt problems, I saw a "sticky" thread re: qt.

Have not completely reviewed it yet but wanted to note that it is there for all to review.

I've given you a way to navigate through the errors. If you find that hard just don't use testing qt and you're good.
