For use webkit-gtk:6 these programs should be ported to gtk-4, but apart from yelp the other two programs seem to me less likely to make the transition.
More information:

It's a browser I don't think is a must.

Yes but maybe some of these program are installed by another package.
I think epiphany and shotwell are installed by gnome-base/gnome-extra-apps package that is installed by gnome-base/gnome with extras use flag enabled. _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |

I don't think so, I understand that doing a migration from gtk-3 to gtk-2 of a software like evolution is not exactly easy and it takes a lot of resources (did someone say GIMP?).
Even with kde there was a similar problem when switching from qtwebkit to qtwebengine. _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |

rumors that the one who made GIMP is the one who made GTK......is that right? i mean that guy is a superman anyway.....
but is that a sadness that only few super applications that adopt new gtk while gtk itself is a superman lift already....
