Hi,
I'm trying to make a presentation with LibreOffice Impress on Sway (hence on Wayland). I have a two display setup, as required, but I can't see the presenter console (where the notes, timings, etc. ought to be).
I tried plugging in the secondary display before and after running LibreOffice, I tried to make LibreOffice a floating window as well, but it doesn't look like it works.
I've read one question that's similar to this one, but it was on KDE, so am asking if anybody out there managed to make this work on Sway/Wayland. Any ideas for troubleshooting would be appreciated as well.
Thanks!

Gabirel

Solving my own thread after researching and doing some testing.
You basically need the presenter console to be "windowed", as opposed to full screen, otherwise it doesn't appear. You can do this by going to Slide Show->Slide Show Settings->Set "Window" in "Presenter console".
There is one other trick, assuming that you want your presentation in full screen: when the presentation starts, exit full screen (generally mod+f), you'll see the presenter console, move it to the secondary screen, then go back to the presentation in full screen mode.

Admittedly, this isn't properly solved as LO still doesn't recognize that there's a second display, but at least this is good enough for me.
