moving /home to another partition

Greetings,

I've added a new hdd to my raid, this results with more space which I want to allocate to ifferent partitions.
so I need to move my /home.
I've created a new partition, copied all the data from /home into it, added the relecant label for the mount to work (I work with labels) and proceeded to boot with the system.
I get to the login screen but when I try to login with any user, lightdm returns to it self.
if I drop to shell and login, I login with the home folder intact.

what can be the issue or where I can find logs to debug it?
