|
|
My system works without problems for years but since 2 days dwm loads but I can't see anything on the screen. It is total black. Shortcuts work, I can open a console, type sudo reboot and the PC reboots.
I can see BIOS loading on the screen, so it is not a screen issue.
After BIOS I see
Code: | Loading Linux 6.6.67-gentoo ...
Loading Initial ramdisk ...
- |
and then nothing...
I tried with older kernels but the problem remains.
What can I do? I have no access to console. I can go in my system with a rescue usb, but what can I do to resolve this issue?
Thank you!

Have you tried it with gentoo-kernel-bin? |

Thank you for replies!
It was the hdmi cable.
The strange thing was that I could see BIOS loading in my screen but not the OS. So I didn't suspect the cable... |
