Hello.
I'm facing a couple of problems with my gentoo. I'm a Plasma 6 user and once I close my laptop, all intenet (wifi) connections die immediately. Wifi remains dead after laptop openning. Only reboot restores it.
I have a 6.6.62 kernel built by genkernel.
I remember there was no such a problem on Plasma 5.
Moreover, sleep, restart and shut down buttons on the application dashboard don't work. There is no effect when I press them. Nothing happens. So, what should I do with that issues?

Hello,

this malfunction is very annoying and I remember an old laptop with which I had the same problem on an earlier, older version of KDE/Plasma under K-Ubuntu.

Unfortunately, I didn't find a solution or the exact cause for this at the time, but the Internet is full of possible solutions for this, e.g. this one: https://discuss.kde.org/t/wlan-state-disabled-after-resume-from-suspended-machine/7350

Have you already tried to solve it?

This isn't the answer you were hoping for, I know. Unfortunately, I can't contribute anything else to the solution

I have the same issue, including on SDDM screen. It seems related to this bug:

That bug does not fit the OP's description.

This is most likely a neglected local config (having not run dispatch-conf after upgrade from Plasma 5 to 6), or elogind missing in boot runlevel.

It looks like it's for systemd, but I use openrc.

I checked both, and they are all set.

I mean once I open my laptop, the network manager applet shows no wifi networks or connections at all. And my current network disconnects.
