Hi,
since my last world update I've noticed some weird disconnection issues with my mouse. Whenever I use an opengl application, i.e. a game, after a while the mouse input isn't recognized anymore, forcing me to basically kill the X server from outside of X. This also happened once streaming a video in full screen mode.
Outside of X the mouse still works via gpm. Scimming through my log files, the only viable information I've found so far, are the following snippets from ~/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log:

and some information from the logs of my window manager (awesome):
Code: |
xscreensaver-systemd: 14:42:41: inhibit sleep failed: Permission denied
xscreensaver: 14:42:41: pid 18974: xscreensaver-systemd exited unexpectedly with status 1

[ERROR glean_core::metrics::ping] Invalid reason code active for ping usage-reporting

though I don't think it is related. Looking dmesg there is no mention of a disconnected usb device at the same time as the X-server...., which corresponds to the fact that the mouse still worked with gpm.
Where else could I look for more information on what is going on?
Kind regards,
Andreas |
