I was trying to change the keymapping from us to us-acentos. But my installation complains that it's unknown. But there is a file in /usr/share/keymaps. what am I doing wrong? It does seem like it finally loads the key mappings, so should I just ignore the warnings?
Code: |
* WARNING: you are stopping a boot service
* Setting keyboard mode [UTF-8] ...
The keyboard is in some unknown mode
Changing to the requested mode may make your keyboard unusable, please use -f to force the change.

The name of your keymap file may not match system requirements. If you load your keymap this way, please check that you are using complete and correct filenames, including a full path. If the layout loads correctly, but the exclamation marks occur anyway, you can disregard these or check whether your configuration is okay. |
