We need more info.
What network hardware are you using ?
Is you network card detected on boot ?
What is the contents of your /etc/conf.d/net.eth0 (i think thats the path, not on my Gentoo box at the moment).
The output of `/sbin/ifconfig`
The output of `netstat -rn`
Cheers ............. |

You mean /etc/init.d/net.eth0, not the one in conf.d.
however, /etc/conf.d/net might help as well. |

it doesent finde eth0, as it is not pluged in or something like that, what does that mean? that comes up when i start linux, some more comes up to, but it goes so fast! is there some possible thing to do for seeing what didnt work at start up? _________________ Im a n00b, a big n00b! |

Do you mean you have 2 network cards in your PC ?
`ifconfig` as root should display all network cards you have as long as the correct driver is loaded for them.
Show us the output of ifconfig and we'll see what we can do. |
