Screen Saver and Power Management Issues (Plasma)

Hi folks,

I'm having trouble with my screensaver in KDE Plasma on Wayland. The screen will go to the lockscreen after the prescribed minutes but then the screens don't power off unless, while on the lockscreen, I jiggle my mouse to bring up the login prompt (but don't log in). Then after a few mins the screens will shut off.

Also, sometimes, the screensaver does not even kick in at all and I don't know how to get it working short of a reboot. Any ideas on how to fix would be appreciated. Thank you!
