Signal on ARM64

I would like to install signal-desktop, I'm running Gentoo on an M2 mac with the asahi project. Unfortunately there is no official support for signal for arm Linux at the moment, but I know people have successfully run it on other distros like Fedora. Normally I would compile manually, but I would like to avoid compiling electron. Any suggestions?

Untill there is no official build (but could not be far of since it has windows ARM support now: https://community.signalusers.org/t/signal-desktop-on-arm64-aarch64/9001/66) you could use the browser, an unoffical PI build https://github.com/dennisameling/Signal-Desktop or as a flatpack https://flathub.org/apps/org.signal.Signal
