Whenever I try to open a PDF file with any LO app, it crashes with the following message:

General Error.
General input/output error.

Nothing appears in syslog, and this is what I get in stdout/stderr:

QGuiApplication::setDesktopFileName: the specified desktop file name ends with .desktop. For compatibility reasons, the .desktop suffix will be removed. Please specify a desktop file name without .desktop suffix
This plugin supports grabbing the mouse only for popup windows

I get this core dump, if that's helpful. I tried rebuilding app-office/libreoffice with custom-cflags disabled, but that didn't solve it either. Anyone know what's going on?
