I've been using "Diskless install using PXE from the LiveCD" in Installation alternatives (https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Installation_alternatives) for quite a while with great success. The last time I did was about a year ago, so I followed the steps again with the latest .iso file (install-amd64-minimal-20250216T164837Z.iso). It hangs at the following.
Code: | 4.3181191 evm: security.SMACE64EXEC (disabled)
4.3182951 evm: security.SMACE64TRAMSMUTE (disabled)
4.3185041 evm: security.SMACE64MMAP (disabled)
4.3186781 evm: security.apparmor
4.3188371 evm: security.ima
4.3190031 evm: security.capability
4.3191741 evm: HMAC attrs: Ox1

4.3317721 Freeing unused kernel image (rodata/data gap) memory: 1596K
4.3819401 x86/mm: Checked W+X mappings: passed, no W+X pages found.
4.3822131 Run /init as init process
4.4432911 dracut: Gentoo-2.17

4.5733951 dracut: rd.md=0: removing MD RAID activation
4.7223361 virtio_blk virtio2: 4/0/0 default/read/poll queues
4.7243121 virtio_blk virtio2: [vda] 41943040 512-byte logical blocks (21.5 GB/20.0 GiB)
4.7309481 scsi host6: Virtio SCSI HBA |
If I bring back the old kernel and initrd files, the system boots successfully. I'd appreciate any suggestions on what to look for.
