how to input Chinese with ibus-libpinyin in Xwayland?

Anyone have used ibus input method inside Xwayland rootful window?

I cannot activate chinese input as shown in screenshot:

ibus engine command returns libpinyin.

but if i press ctrl + alt + space, as configured in ibus-setup, nothing happens, the Chinese input popup won't show.
