Ciao,
ho un problema a collegare un cavo usb di un telefonino Siemens s45 al pc.
Ecco il log:
Dec 22 14:43:16 [kernel] usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x67b/0x2303) is not claimed by any active driver.
Dec 22 14:44:01 [kernel] usb.c: registered new driver serial
per riconoscere la periferica carico il modulo con: insmod usbserial vendor=0x067b product=0x2303
Dec 22 14:44:12 [kernel] hub.c: new USB device 00:1d.2-2, assigned address 3
Dec 22 14:44:12 [kernel] usbserial.c: Generic converter detected
a questo punto nel howto che sto seguendo scrive che mi dovrebbe caricare anche questo:
Apr 10 20:59:03 ransu kernel: usbserial.c: Generic converter now attached to ttyUSB0 (or usb/tts/0 for devfs)
Apr 10 20:59:03 ransu kernel: usbserial.c: USB Serial Driver core v1.4
Se controllo in dev il file ttyUSB0 non esite!
Come faccio a caricare la /dev/ttyUSB0 ???

quel codice non me lo mostra nel log!
Cmq ho provado a mettere in wvdial.conf come modem la stringa /dev/tts/0. Quando lancio wvidal ecco cosa succede:
wvdial Vodafone
--> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.53
--> Initializing modem.
--> Sending: ATH
ATH
OK
--> Sending: ATE1
ATE1
OK
--> Sending: AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","web.omnitel.it","",0,0
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","web.omnitel.it","",0,0
ERROR
--> Bad init string.
--> Initializing modem.
....
