after typing in Quick Search "gentoo-source" the forum responded with this:

| Looks like phpbb handles deadlocks with the Ostrich-algorithm (put head in the sand and pretend they don't happen), while SQL detected a deadlock and aborted the query. That's alright, the only inconvenience is you have to start your search again. |

1st. This bug was not reproducible, well its a deadlock.
2nd. I think that SQL Query needs REALLY to be fixed. It seems to be really slow.

Used to get lots of those around last November or so. Not sure when I got the last one, but I'm certain there were none at all this year (so far).
