So Im looking for a relatively inexpensive controller for my new gentoo box. It will probably be used for ZSNES and other emulators and whatever other games support controllers. It has to be easy to set up and fully Linux compatible. Like i said, im looking for something that isnt to expensive, but it cant be junky. You guys have any ideas? The best for SNES: http://pupp.edgeemu.com/snes_control.htm
Otherwise: I'm semi happy with my Microsoft Sidewinder Gamepad.
But to be fair -- it's more of a personal taste sorta thing and the size of your hand. I'd suggest "feeling them up" at a local best buy and see which one is the best... _________________ Smells like Barbeque |

I'd try www.saitek.com they make high quality game-controls but they aren't too expensive..
I'd go for one of their Playstation lookalikes (P2500) for PC since you can use them for both snes and epsxe. |

Get a XBOX xpad, cut off one end and solder a usb plug to it. Windows and linux love this gamepad (there are driver for both) and you can use it to play SNES, N64 and PSX roms, because it has digital AND analog sticks. _________________ if only I could fill my heart with love... |
