I get the same error as this person got:

But when I reinstall foomatic and try running calibrate_ppa to see what happens I get an infinite amount of:

So I configured by hand... using some GS command...
Started Cups, went to localhost:631 and manage printers
Said the printer was idle and accepting jobs, pressed print, nottin and got this error message in error_log:

cat'ing a file doesnt work either....
Absolutely nothing happens, printer does nothing.......

I had this same problem until I went into Gimp and setup my printer in there and then it worked fine for any and all programs.

And my printer was working in Windows before I installed Gentoo Linux
So the problem is Linux...
