I want to use a Logitech ClickSmart 310 but don't know where to begin. V4L? Just install some software? What?

This camera has no Linux support at all and Logitech stated that they don't intend to provide any drivers for it. Classifies as paperweight in Linux.

Have a look at spca5xx. Its in the Gentoo Portage and according to this, it is supported...
