On my most recent Gentoo install, I used lilo instead of grub... Old habits die hard I guess. Anyway, I want to switch back to grub, anything I should be aware of or can I just emerge and configure grub and have it "just work"? _________________ We don't need no stinkin' signatures. |

It should just work assuming you will be writing to the MBR. There thing to be sure of is that on boot the grub boot record is found and not anything left over from lilo. _________________ --
