don't know how to install on a sata raid 0

Hi

I want to install gentoo on my sata raid 0, but I don't know if there is a device name, and if there is, what is its name? I thought it should be /dev/ataraid/*, but there is no /dev/ataraid... he has a /dev/sda and sdb, I think they are my two sata disks.

but what can I do to get a /dev/* for my raid???

My Hardware:
Gigabyte GA8KNXP (Sil3112, Sata Raid controller)
2x Maxtor 6Y080M0 (SATA 8MB cache 80GB)
P4 2,6Ghz 800Mhz
2x512MB DDR400

if its a software raid it'll be /dev/md0 or /dev/md/0 afaik. Just treat it like a normal partition
