|
I want to get a new ip from a dhcp server. I already have one but need a new one.
I'm on a nat network.
I know that this can be accomplished by using another network card, but this is rather overkill.
there must be a simpler way to do this.
thanks in advance |

monkeyking,
See man dhcpcd and the -s option.
It allows you to suggest an IP you would like if its free. _________________ Regards,
