Hi forum
I have a problem with my Postfix server.
When a person with a mail adr (From "Paul æø lastname " paul@kde.no) that contains å,æ or ø sends a message to me the message bounces with error
| Code: | Non-encoded 8-bit data (char F8 hex) in message header 'From'
From: "tore gr\370nmyr" <dakwadzi... > |
Any Suggestions?

Yes, International characters in the address field is not the best thing. Unfortunatly a lot of mail systems allows them.
You can try to set the following postfix parameter and bounce postfix and see if it solves the issue:

But this did not work either 
Default:
strict_rfc821_envelopes = no
By default, the Postfix SMTP server accepts any address form that it can make sense of, including address forms that contain RFC 822-style comments, or addresses not enclosed in <>. There is a lot of broken or misconfigured software out there on the Internet.
