intel8x0 problem

I've installed the alsa drivers and seemed to get the adio working as User "A". Now when I reboot and login as User "B" it doesn't work. If I login as User "A" again the audio works for both, but only after I login as user A that it was originally setup for.

I hope this make some sense.

Anyone have any ideas?

is user B part of the audio group as well?

are both users in the 'audio' group ?
might have something to do with that.

check with 'id <username>'
then use usermod to add the user to the audio group or edit the /etc/goups manually.
