It does work, but be aware when I did this from another machine a little while ago, some of the temp files got corrupted the first time I loaded xmule. Luckliy I hadn't deleted the originals, and they rehashed fine the second time around. Just a little warning _________________ Bunder for president ^o^ |

take note if I am not mistaken xMule is deprecated. (will not work on connecting to all servers because it does not have zlib support. especially connecting to the main servers like RazorBack, etc). Where aMule does support this.
Just something to consider.

ah, thats why...
i emerged xmule and saw that error.... so i emerged amule, and somehow amule kept all my setting from xmule, and i still got that zlib error from servers
So im going to unmerge xmule and remerge amule to see if that fixes it _________________ AXP 1700+ @ 2.2GHz (220x10), Abit NF7-S 2.0, 768MB Twinmos PC3200, Radeon 9100, Gentoo :> |

hmm it still seems to give me that zlib thing "please upgrade your client"
does amule 1.1.0 support it? _________________ AXP 1700+ @ 2.2GHz (220x10), Abit NF7-S 2.0, 768MB Twinmos PC3200, Radeon 9100, Gentoo :> |

Hi,
What I did is I stored all my temporary emule files on a fat32 partition (d. When I'm using Linux amule makes use of the same temp files without me having to copy them all the time. Never had problems with it. |
