Anyone have experience with sound editors? I have heard of Audacity and Snd. Are either of them any good? They don't appear to be in portage. Any other suggestions? |

From what I've heard, GLAME is considered to be one of the best sound editors out there. Never actually used it, just passing on the rumour

P.S. There is an ebuild script in the current Portage tree - media-sound/glame. |

Well, I tried GLAME, and I found it incredibly difficult to use, and unstable. Maybe it's just me . I like Audacity, and EcaSound/EcaWave. Also, SND seemed ok, but can't deal with MP3 files directly. Does anyone know if either ecasound or audacity are on their way into portage by chance?
