Im having problems with running crontab -e as a regluar user aftur merging vcron, the error is seteuid: Operation not permitted.
The user is listed in the cron group and crontab seemes to have the right permissions.
craven@jentwo / $ ls -al /usr/bin/crontab
-rwsr-x--- 1 root cron 23516 Jan 4 21:19 /usr/bin/crontab
I saw other postings about this but they didnt help at all.
Suggestions? |

I don't know if it'll help, but vcron is deprecated. The new package is called sys-apps/vixie-cron. |

Have you logged out and logged back in since changing your group memberships? You need to do this before your new memberships will take effect. |
