Questo è il problema:
Un mio amico disponde di modem usb [eci e relativi] funzionante; al momento di navigare con i browser (Konqueror, FireBird ed ecc ecc comprendendo pure links ) le pagine non vengono caricate in quanto vanno in richiesta scaduta. L'unico browser che funziona parzialmente è lynx (testuale).
Come si può risolvere? Any idea???

Assumendo che il modem sia davvero funzionante, e quindi un eventuale funzionerebbe senza problemi, può provare un a patto ovviamente di avere telnet installato: se non dà errori scrivere seguito da due ritorno carrello, cioè una richiesta minima HTTP come sarebbe inviata da un browser, ad esempio lynx; sicuramente i browsers grafici usano HTTP/1.1, ma la differenza è solo lato server, perciò se vedi come risultato del codice HTML puoi essere sicuro che il problema sia nella configurazione dei browser.

Già il fatto di emergare telnet vorrà dire che scarichi i sorgenti. Probabilmente in http con wget. Quindi se è così internet funge |

Lynx potrebbe funzionare perche' sono (o NON sono) settate le impostazioni del/i proxy nella shell.
Fai:
e controlla che i valori siano uguali a quelli impostati nei browsers.

Non con tutte le pagine, solo alcune
Cmq ora provo a vedere le impostazioni proxy (anche se io nn ho impostato niente -.-) |
