Hi!
Hab mir grade den NEC ND-1300A zugelegt.
Leider tut sich da nix:
Zuerst hab ich ATAPI gebrannt (merke: die erste DVD hat funktioniert!), aber dann tat sich gar nichts mehr. Auch mit SCSI-Emulation nicht. Hab streng nach Anweisung aus dem Forum gearbeitet!
ATAPI:

Executing 'builtin_dd if=robbie.iso of=/dev/hdc obs=32k seek=0'
/dev/hdc: "Current Write Speed" is 2.0x1385KBps.

Bei SCSI kommt nach der ersten Zeile nur eine "[...] OPC failed [...]"-Nachricht (genau weiß ich nicht mehr, hab keine Lust wieder neu zu starten).
Bei dvdrecord sieht's genauso aus...
Kann mir jemand verraten, was ich falsch mache? Langsam bin ich verzweifelt! Hab extra Windoof installiert, nur um die aktuelle Firmware draufzuwerfen (hat der Händler empfohlen wegen Rohling-Updates). Wie man merkt, hat's nicht geholfen...

P.S.: Kernel 2.6.1-rc1-love2, dvd+rw-tools 5.13.4.7.4 [growisofs 5.13], dvdrtools 0.1.4.

Hab auch dvd+rw-tools geupdatet auf 5.16.4.8.5, aber nix.
Habe die Vermutung, dass es am Rohling liegt, mal ne andere Marke ausprobieren.

Griass Di!
Des mit dem Update ist zwar sehr empfehlenswert, aber das Problem kommt mir bekannt vor.
Verwendest du vielleicht kde?
das dortige Brennprogramm hat, bei einem Freund von mir, immer dazwischen gefunkt.
Wenn dem so ist koenntest du mal versuchen eine dvd ohne laufendes kde zu brennen.

Hi!
Danke für den Tip, aber ich nutze xfce4. Hab zwar auch schon k3b probiert, aber das klappt auch nicht.
Und meine Prozessliste ist (was Anwendungen angeht) gähnende Leere...

Sieht so aus! Hab mir nen Verbatim-Rohling geleistet und der läuft!
