Does anyone have a physically small alpha machine for sale? I heard that there was a 64bit alpha that was around 400MHz whose case was the size of a cereal box. |

I've never heard of such a small chassis, but you could build it yourself with the motherboard. The Alpha LX 164 series ran at a variety of frequencies 500, 533, 600, etc. You could find a 400Mhz if you tried hard enough. Be warned that the price for these are going to be more than a solid brand new PC workstation even though the technology is about ten years old. |
