when i got my laptop 4 weeks ago i installed gentoo and everything worked out of the box including the fn keys (fn + f...) for CRT/LCD switching, cdrom eject, lcd brightness etc etc...
then the tft broke and i had to send the laptop in. when i got it back i installed gentoo and most things worked out of the box again but just now i found (i did not pay attention before - stupid, i know) that the fn keys do not work. only the CRT/LCD switch and the lcd brightness work, but not the cd eject and - most important - the switch to the numpad that is integrated in the main keyboard does not work...
i searched the forums but did not find anything useful but probably i do not really know what to search for...
if you have any hints or useful comments please let me know... this is pretty annoying...
many thanks in advance...
cheers
