Hi,

I'm trying to install qt but when I do, I get these errors:

Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hmmm, I just now saw the note in the desktop forum with a description that is similar to what I'm experiencing. That's weird because the version mentioned (3.2.3-r1) is the one I'm compiling and I'm still getting the error. I also think I posted in the wrong forum. Sorry. L

Looks like it's really only 1 error, creating subdirectory of /root:

Are you logged in as root? Do you have permission to create directories in root? Might be worth trying to create

Not sure that's the problem, just a thought. I'm just a noob, so take it for what it's worth :lol:

I had tried to do it manually and it still failed. But the emerge sync worked. Thanks, nowto get totem working!
