Hi!
What does this kernel message mean?

Quote:
cdrom: This disc doesn't have any tracks I recognize!
(There is no cd in my drive)
Any hints?

Regards,
Tobias

I get the same messages when I boot. I think the kernel probes cd devices and if there is no cd in the drive, it gives that error, which is true if you don't have a cd. It's never caused me any problems, so I wouldn't worry about it.
