Hi
I cannot emerge yammi. Yammi is downloaded and starts to compile. Somewhere in the compiling process he gives me errors with:
acces denied /usr/qt/3/etc/settings/.qt_plugins_3.2rc.lock
acces denied /usr/qt/3/etc/settings/qt_plugins_3.2rc.tmp
failed to open /usr/qt/3/etc/settings/qt_plugins_3.2rc.tmp for writing
(the last line could also be the .lock, I'm not sure)
And later he gives me many lines with:
open_wr: /usr/qt/3/etc/settings/.qt_plugins_3.2rc.lock
open_wr: /usr/qt/3/etc/settings/qt_plugins_3.2rc.tmp
and than just stops.
I've created the dirs and the files manually and gave permission to them for all with chmod. I tried to emerge with USE="qt" and "Use="gtk", but everytime I get the same error. Any ideas? |

i never have managed to install yammi with ebuilds... if i compile manually it installs fine.... I must note that it has an anoying bug with xmms, where it will just hang every 20 songs or so.... _________________ Using Gentoo since 2002. |

what version of xmms are you using? i am not the only one experiencing problems with the yammi xmms combo. Apperently its a bug in the advance playlist call or something like that.... _________________ Using Gentoo since 2002. |

Have got it working. A friend of mine looked up the installscript. Had nothing to do with xmms, but was something with the kde headers. He meant when he did a ./configure -kde or so he doesn't detected qt. He changed something in the install script but I doesn't know what. |
