hi,
also i'm currently using Alsa and everthing is working like a cham but....
i need to control the volume of each program seperatly..
for example if i want some background sound while in Teamspeak.
If i run XMMS the volume of XMMS is too loud and if i try to bring it down i can only controll the system's sound level.. _________________ Linux is like a Wigwam - no Gates, no Windows and a Apache inside |

As far is i know xmms has no built in volume control, please correct me if im wrong So you could try try using the xmms volume normalize plugin http://volnorm.sourceforge.net/ . I do not have the tine to test this so if it works please let me know _________________ EASY TO INSTALL = Difficult to install, but instruction manual has pictures.

Corrrrrect.
The volume slider can only control the PCM or the Master volume levels.
There may be a plugin that could help you though... |
