Does any one have a clue as to why I cannot unmerge xfce4 package.

Not sure, but from looking at the error message, did you try: Code: | emerge -C =xfce-extra/xfce4-wavelan-0.1.0 |
I'm at work, so I can't try it, but when unemerging a specific version, I believe you need to use the =, otherwise you can just give the name of the package and it will unemerge all versions of the package. _________________ Mark Loeser

I did a
Code: | emerge -C xfce4-wavelan |
and that did the job. |

It simply removes it. Then you can't re-install it. |
