Sometimes, when taking too long to post a reply, I get logged out and the message gets attributed to Guest. Is is possible for phpBB to issue a warning that one is not logged in when submitting a message and presenting the option of logging in again and trying again?
How long is the automatic logout period anyway?

I complained about this once. If I recall, someone mentioned upping it to 30 minutes. Checking the 'log in automatically' box before you enter name & password will solve this issue.

IIRC, session timeouts are 30 minutes. As kanuslupus mentioned, if this distreses you, simply check the "automatically log me in" button (or whatever its called) and you'll never have to worry about it again.
