|
|
I pulled a brilliant one today. Anyway, my root password has been changed to something and I don't know what it is. Is there a way I can reset the password? I searched through the forums and wasn't able to find anything. Help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks! |

- Pop in the Gentoo install CD.
- Mount your partitions.
- `chroot` into your system.
- Run `passwd`.
All done. _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |

an easier way (no cd needed - boot from hd is faster anyway):
boot with init=/bin/sh
go on with delta407s step 4.
