Hi there, last night I decided to upgrade to the 2.6 kernel, and because i'm an idiot I just installed it without reading the instruction manuel, Is there any possible way to go back to the 2.4 kernel that I had installed? I think it's still there in /usr/src so I think just changing a few lilo options wouldn't hurt, would it?
I'm only asking this because loads of errors appear on boot up now. |

Unless you overwrote the old kernel images and system map, in boot just change lilo back to the way it was and reboot. You can always specify more then one kernel to boot from in lilo and grub.
Good luck! |
