I just reinstalled gentoo, and I used to have the printer working perfectly. I'm setting up my printer again using CUPS, but the problem is that when I print something that's more than a page long, the printer will pause for a second between pages so it's not a continuous feed. This didn't happen before...any ideas? Thanks. |

Well, my guess would be that it's because the comptuer is printing the first page, rendering the second, then printing the second, etc. Look around for an option to spool EVERYTHING at once, instead of a little at a time. That might do it. But these are just guesses, I'm not sure why that would happen. _________________ -- Michael
