Hallo!
Beim Aufruf von ldconfig treten immer folgende Fehler auf:

ldconfig: /usr/lib/libgnome-desktop-2.so.2.1.9 is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.

Resultat ist, daß ein GNOME-Update nicht mehr funktioniert.
Habe schon mal die libgnome reemerged - aber nix!
Was heißt das eigentlich - "not an ELF file" ?

du musst nicht libgnome emergen, sondern gnome-base/gnome-desktop: | Code: | sds root # qpkg -f /usr/lib/libgnome-desktop-2.so.2.1.9
gnome-base/gnome-desktop *
sds root # qpkg -f /usr/lib/libgnome-desktop-2.so
gnome-base/gnome-desktop *
sds root # |

das mit libqscintilla hatte ich auch, als ich damals den qt port von scintilla installiert habe. das ding war damals ziemlich alpha und im portage gemaskt. seitdem ich es deinstalliert habe, habe ich es nicht mehr angeschaut. also kann ich dir hier auch nicht helfen.
