I'm haveing a problem with my SATA disk. The kernel detects it, but when i run: cfdisk /dev/hde it locks up for a few minutes, beeps and then dumps:

What SATA hardware are you using? Which drivers? What drive? What kernel? |

What do you mean by SATA hardware, drivers (SiI?)?
Kernel is 2.6.0, drive is WD 120 GB SATA150 7200rpm 8Mb.

I am running Asus P4C800 and the same errors occur when trying to boot in enhanced/native mode when it tried to access one of my P-ATA drives.... _________________ In /dev/null, no one can hear you scream. |
