|
|
Hi,
I'm trying to setup my system so I can burn CDs and after browsing the forums a little I saw a few posts talking about nautilus-cd-burner. I've emerged it with no problems, but the only thing under "Target to write to:" is File Image. It can't seem to find my cd-rw. Any ideas why?
Thanks for any help. |

I just tried that and had no luck. Same problem.
I decided to emerge gtoaster, just to give it a shot. However I'm still coming up with problems. I did a cdrecord --scanbus and got this:
Code: |
cdrecord --scanbus
Cdrecord 2.01a14 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2003 Jrg Schilling
cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open '/dev/pg*'. Cannot open SCSI driver.
cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are root.
cdrecord: For possible transport specifiers try 'cdrecord dev=help'.
|
I did that as root. I've been able to mount my cd-rw with no problem, so I'm not really sure why I'm getting this.
Thanks for any help. |
