Hi,
When emerging gnome, scrollkeeper gets installed.
Some of the gnome programs trigger scrollkeeper to run after the emerge of said programs.
And then... the thing just keeps on running and eating CPU cycles without doing anything...
Any ideas on what is happening?

| Started happening here too. Suddenly. Started today, never happened before. Only happens when merging or unmerging gdm. |

I get it for anything which requires scrollkeeper .. gnome, evolution ..

I had the problem emerging gdm as well. I was using portage v 2.0.3, so I upgraded to .28. Don't know if that fixed it or not yet.
EDIT: Tried another emerge -b gdm, but it still hung on scrollkeeper. For scrollkeeper, I had 0.2-r3 installed. Upgrading to 0.3.11 now.
Also, this is a post install question, so moving from Installing Gentoo to Other Things Gentoo.
