Salut !
Je m'explique : disons que je me logge avec un utilisateur normal dans Gnome et que j'ouvre un terminal et que jasse un su dessus. Alors là, impossible de lancer une appli graphique, comme Gnucash ou kedit par exemple !

Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0.0

Si je ne suis plus en root ça marche sans pb...
Des idées ?

ça te fait ça tout le temps?
Moi parfois ça m'arrive, je redémarre X et j'ai plus le pb.
Autre chose : ton X est bien sur 0:0? |

Il te faut taper la commande:
soit en utilisateur normal, soit en root, je ne sais plus (peut-être les deux?).
Ensuite si tu fais un "su -", il te faut taper:
| Code: | export DISPLAY=:0.0
export XAUTHORITY=/home/prog/.Xauthority
|
(ici prog c'est mon utilisateur, faut remplacer par le tien).
Et normalement ça devrait marcher. |

il suffit de taper "xhost +localhost" en utilisateur avant de faire le "su".
le export DISPLAY et XAUTHORITY ne sont pas utiles

Bon, j'ai changé le login manager (c'était kdm, je l'ai passé à gdm) et maintenant ça marche !
