Can you please do a brain-dump and dump into this topic all the ways one can enhance fluxbox?
Thank you... |

idesk
fluxter
fluxspace
themes
aa text
transparency
ROX-pinboard
gdesklets
desktop background
etc, etc, etc
It would probably help if you were to pose a question regarding specifics, rather than just ask for a brain-dump. |

does any of you know how to convince fluxbox to look for styles in
/usr/share/commonbox instead of /usr/share/fluxbox...
some time ago fluxbox used /usr/share/commonbox by default... |

I just added a line to my ~/.fluxbox/menu so now it looks like:
Code: |
[submenu] (common styles) {Choose a style...}
[stylesdir] (/usr/share/commonbox/styles)
[end]
[submenu] (flux styles) {Choose a style...}
[stylesdir] (/usr/share/fluxbox/styles)
[end]
[submenu] (usr styles) {Choose a style...}
[stylesdir] (~/.fluxbox/styles)
[end]
