I believe it's on a 100Mb pipe, but it uses an average of 3.2Mbps

There are 7 servers that service rsync.gentoo.org, each of which uses an average of just under 5Mbps. There are probably a hundred or so community rsync servers that make up the various rsync.<country code>.gentoo.org and bandwidth on those servers varies wildly. (we're not looking for additional community rsync mirrors, btw. we have plenty.)
